The man responsible for the murder at Foulmouth, Mazuruni, Essequibo was yesterday remanded after making a court appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Paul Charles, 23, of Foulmouth yesterday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson to be read a charge of murder.
It is alleged that on December 21, at Foulmouth, Charles murdered Patricia Williams. He was unrepresented and was not required to plead to the indictable charge. He declined to say anything when invited to by the Magistrate.
The magistrate then remanded Charles and transferred that matter to the Bartica Magistrate’s Court where he is expected to appear on January 27, 2010.
