This week poor people decide that dem and all can sport at big shot place suh dem go to Duke Lodge. De difference is that that when big shot go to certain place dem know how to walk, how to talk and even how to sit down. Poor people ain’t got that. Dem does do what dem think.
Imagine in de daytime people does frighten fuh walk pun de same side wid de embassy. Dem does avoid even de concrete wall. But de other night poor people sit down pun de embassy wall, dem pee cross de road, dem use dem embassy facilities and of course dem ain’t care if dem never get a visa.
All dem boys announce that Gerry is a man fuh poor people because he attract nuff of dem. But Gerry ain’t like de designation of poor man lover because he got big shot friends. That is wha dem boys seh.
Dem boys also seh that Manny who hold de Main Big Lime also like poor people and li’l children. He invite de chic chic people and encourage dem fuh leh li’l children gamble. Was a nice sight to see li’l children wid dem small change in dem hand playing numbers and winning or losing.
Dem boys seh that de children was getting preparation fuh de future. All who lose gun go and beg fuh more money to play chic chic. Some gun thief dem parents money fuh play chic chic and Manny gun smile when he realize that he start some children on de path.
Is a surprise that dem didn’t have nobody selling cane in Duke Street and at de Main Big Lime. Dem boys seh that is because sugar in trouble and GuySuCo saving every piece of cane.
