Five lucky winners pulled from among 2,00 entries, walked away with household items as their prizes.
They had entered a competition sponsored by Demerara Bank to coincide with the institution’s15th anniversary, a month ago.
Copping the first prize of a washing machine was sign artist, Kamal Mohamed, of Affiance. Gaitree Persaud, a staff member of Boodhoo’s General Store in Cotton Field walked away with a microwave, while third place winner, Hemand Chelie won for himself a blender.
