Mildred Mansfield Youth Club spreads Christmas cheer

The Mildred Mansfield Youth Club (formerly Dorcas Club) held its annual Christmas Party for the children of the Werk-en-Rust, Charlestown, Wortmanville and Albouystown area last Saturday at its D’Urban Street, Werk-en-Rust location.
The Christmas Party was well attended and all the children had a great time enjoying lots of food, Ice-cream and gifts.
In addition to the usual toys, books were distributed to the older children as the club’s management continues to place emphasis on the value and benefit of reading.
Next year the club will be continuing with its free Information Technology, Culinary, English and Mathematics classes through the dedication of trained teachers.
The gifts and food were sponsored by Clifford Reis, Chairman of Banks DIH, Dr. Richard Van-West Charles and other donors.
