This season de whole country does see more electricians that any other time. Dem boys walk round and dem see people who never hold a pliers trying wid GPL pole fuh get current.
One dead and couple well get shock and dem lucky because de same time dem mek de illegal connection dem get blackout. GPL didn’t know how much good it do fuh some people when it slap de blackout pun dem.
Dem boys see so much fairy lights that dem wonder if GPL can maintain de power and of course, while some of dem who put up de lights fuh de season smiling, dem gun cry when de light bill come next month.
And wha got dem boys wondering is that people never learn. January is always a hard month. That is de month when people does lef home billfold and always got to get a car fare.
Some does get children that dem never had and these children does get sick and always in January. Is bruck dem people bruck but shame to come out and seh suh.
But for all that dem spending like if there is no tomorrow. Imagine de Waterfalls boss man pay a bonus to he staff. He tell dem that dem have money that normally dem wouldn’t have suh dem can put up de bonus and spend it in January. He talking to de breeze because by tonight, de only money dem would have is fuh Old Year’s Night.
But behind every dark cloud is a silver lining. Dem businessmen gun be begging people to buy in January. Some gun even trust because de goods wouldn’t move.
Dem also got other things. De season now in full swing and people getting mad. Imagine that some get suh mad that dem killing people pun de road. So near, yet so far is de cry. People now talking how dem got to wonder who gun live to see Christmas at de rate some people behaving.
