Car sends loaded minibus into trench
A minibus BLL 6759 turned turtle yesterday following an accident with a car HB 1269 in the vicinity of La Grange, West Bank Demerara and sent public spirited citizen scurry to the assistance of those trapped in the bus.
The minibus which was extracted from the trench
According to an eyewitness the bus was heading up the West Bank when a gold coloured Toyota AT 192 car came out of Independence Street and slammed the minibus from behind causing the bus to lose control and run off the road, and into the trench in front the cemetery.
No one was seriously hurt.
