Christmas came early for six Breeze customers who participated in the annual Breeze Shopping Spree.
Those six customers on Thursday grabbed over $500,000 in groceries at the Kitty Branch of Bounty Supermarket.
They were given times ranging from 15 seconds to 60 seconds to grab as much groceries as possible in the supermarket.
Leading the competitors was Alana Thompson of Grove, East Bank Demerara who grabbed $162,781 worth in groceries in 60 seconds.
Following her was Talfaa Sampson of Non Pareil East Coast Demerara and Judith Cummings of D’Urban Street who grabbed $105,728 and $81,308 worth in groceries in 45 seconds and 15 seconds respectively.
These were followed by Rhonda Williams who grabbed $62,066 worth in 20 seconds, Swatdot Mironjie with $56,624 in 30 seconds.
And last was Andrea Moriah with $56,000 worth, in 25 seconds.
