Dem sugar workers really get vex when dem hear that GuySuCo wasn’t paying dem any bonus before Christmas. De union decide that dem had to protest suh dem mek placard. Dem argue that de sugar company wasn’t paying because dem want to mek sure that dem have enough money to pay de big ones.
Well from de time dem mek that claim nuff of de Directors come out and holler how dem don’t tek money from GuySuCo. Is then dem boys know that de Directors was sorry fuh de sugar company and decide that dem wouldn’t tek money.
But wha really got dem boys thinking is who in dem right senses woulda mek an agreement to pay de big ones so much money and pay de small ones a li’l bit. And when de government decide to pay six per cent to public servants de sugar workers claim how de government was laughing at dem because de tribunal only give dem three per cent.
Well next week de sugar company gun have plenty money because all dem workers intend to tek de small piece dem get and shy it back to de paymaster.
But dem boys remember is de same sugar workers who use to bun young cane. Dem never use to think that every young cane that dem bun was a dollar gone up in smoke. Then dem start fuh throw stone and iron in de punt to bruck up de gear that does crush de cane. That and all cost money. Dem boys seh that GuySuCo didn’t forget and now dem tekking every cent back.
Dem boys also notice that some people come together to form an organization to protest a law which mek prostitution and homosexuality illegal. If you see dem real gyal and dem fake gyal.
Dem boys seh that dem wasn’t sure who was who because all of dem dress up suh nice and of course dem had one set who was wearing pants suit and only de Man above know how dem hide wha dem born wid and look neat.
Well all de lawyers who see dem decide that dem gun have to lock up some because dem would have a hard time separating one from de other.
Talk half. Lef half.
