In the quarter-final which was played at the Rose Hall Town Ground on the Corentyne, East Coast won the toss and elected to bat first. They were given a start of 29 runs from their openers Vivian Albert and Brian Sattaur, who after that was caught off offspinner Sharaz Ramcharran for 10.
Three runs later Berbice Under-15 right arm legspinner Shawn Perreira struck and after Albert and Vickram Sukhai had put on 21 for the 3rd wicket, he clean bowled Albert for 17 at 53 for 3. Guyana Under-15 left arm spinner Gudakesh Motie Kanhai joined the fray, clean bowling Sukhai for 21.
After Perreira struck for a third time, Ryan Chichester and Devendra Bishan added a valuable 23 for the 6th wicket. Bishan (10) was removed by Motie at 99 for 6 and the offspinner picked up another wicket at 99 for 7, they did not get very further as the last three wickets including Chichester for the top score of 31, all went via the run out route to leave East Coast all out for 123 in 36.4 Overs.

Nine runs later Perreira fell to the same Yadram/Bishan combination for 27, leaving Corentyne still in a vulnerable position at 64 for 4. However, Shailendra Shameer and Gudakesh Motie Kanhai ensured that East Coast got no other wicket in a hurry and they went on to put on a very valuable 56 before Chichester had Shameer LBW for the top score of 39 with Corentyne almost home at 120 for 5.
