100 FIFA approved balls among equipment handed over
The Continental Group of Companies has continued their support of the Camptown Football Club and according to Company secretary Percival Boyce; their commitment will be maintained and expanded over the coming years.
Yesterday at the Camptown ground in Campbellville, Boyce handed over a set of the balls to Club Captain Nigel Codrington in the presence other players.
Boyce informed that the club will receive 100 FIFA approved balls, 25 pairs of football boots, 25 shin guards, 50 pairs of socks and 50 water bottles.
Boyce said that most important is the fact that Continental continues to work with Camptown F.C. “We have presented the first set of equipment which was really needed and other items are on the plan which will be coming in shortly.
We will continue to support Sunburst Camptown and Continental Group of Companies would like to wish them all the best in the upcoming 20th Kashif and Shanghai tournament.”
Recently, while on holiday in the US, Boyce took time off to meet with the Camptown New York chapter and sought to workout investments which will be forthcoming and includes infrastructural and player development apart from supplying equipment.
Responding on behalf of the club and players, Captain Nigel Codrington said he was very pleased for the support of Continental and was looking forward to long and fruitful partnership between the two entities which would see player development as a major part of the whole.
