A second form student of Central High School was yesterday remanded into police custody after appearing before Magistrate Fazil Azeez. He was charged with indecently assaulting his niece.
The 14-year-old lad, on December 7, at Charlestown, allegedly indecently assaulted his six year old niece. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
Police Prosecutor, Stephen Telford, requested that the magistrate transfer the matter to the Acting Chief Magistrate for December 16.
Magistrate Azeez told the young man, “When you want to experiment get a big dolly”. He then remanded the youth to Police custody and transferred the matter to the Acting Chief Magistrate who will hear it on December 16.
