On Saturday, the main opposition Party, People’s National Congress Reform, brought Christmas cheer to the children of the Sophia Literacy Project through the annual Christmas Party at Congress Place, Sophia.
More than 240 children were among the guests and they sang carols, recited poetry and danced.
PNCR Leader, Robert Corbin, addressed the children and wished them all a bright and successful New Year. He also entertained the youths by singing, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” danced with them and joined with other members of the Executive in serving them.
Toys were distributed by Santa Claus in collaboration with the co-ordinators of the programme.
The Sophia Literacy Project is co-ordinated by Mrs. Carol Corbin, Ms. Africo Selman, M.P. and a team of volunteers.
