The madness continues and not a day will go by without a serious vehicular accident. This time two cars are going to collide because one would attempt to overtake when another is approaching.
The driver would be young and hotheaded, and be one who believes that he owns the road. The police are going to be pushed to deal condignly with the errant motorist but money sometimes talks, and poor people more often than not, listen.
Is this corruption? Certainly. But it will be difficult to pursue because the investigation is going to be botched.

The police are going to corner a gun-toting group operating in the hinterland purely by luck. The confrontation is going to be short because of a reluctance to pursue fleeing gunmen.
However, two are going to be caught and the others would be identified. It would be some time though, before any of them would be cornered. Suffice it to say that one would be held in the city.

One more major fire is going to strike a household and this would be the result of carelessness. The homeowner would proclaim that nothing was lit but he would forget the cigarette that fell on the floor and caught the rug.
