Yamaha Caribs females played unbeaten over the weekend at the Trinidad and Tobago Football Union Sevens Championships which was played, at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The Guyanese women first defeated Royalians 36-0 with nationals Andrea Lashley scoring 3 tries and a similar amount of conversions, while national Captain Sabola Gray, Trisha Munroe and T. Lara added one apiece.
In their second encounter, the Guyanese beat Aranjuez Romans 33-0 with Gray going over the tryline thrice, while Lashley followed up with 2 tries and 4 conversions.
And in their final clash, the locals hammered St. Vincent and the Grenadines 56-0.
Lashley continued her good form, scoring 2 tries and converting 8 times, while Shebana Daniels and Carrin Skeete had 2 tries each and Gray and Munroe added 1 try apiece.
