Dear Editor,
Just a follow up to my letter dated 04/12/09, “GuySuCo’s way forward”, a little task for my brothers at the sugar cooperation.
Can they make public a list of their inventory of machinery and equipment for field operations? This will enable one to justify the reason for them acquiring additional machinery and equipment or the fact that they are trying to outsource their field operations to private contractors at the moment.
Obviously, things are worse than I thought because it should be consider a crisis situation if they are down to availability of cash only after a ship has been loaded.
As a result of the above situation, it is only a matter of time before there is a total shut down of GuySuCo.
So once again, please let us be prudent and think outside of the box!
