Leon ‘Hurry Up’ Moore preparing for title eliminator in Indonesia next month

Merely three months after his decisive unanimous points decision over former Colombian world champion, Mauricio Pastrana, Leon ‘Hurry Up’ Moore is set to return to the ‘square jungle,’ this time against Indonesia’s Marangin Marbun, early next month for the vacant WBA (PABA) Super Bantamweight title.
Reports emanating from a Singapore newspapers said that the bout is a welcome return of professional boxing in Singapore since the last card was held over three years ago.
The report also labels the fight a mouth-watering clash saying that a large crowd is it anticipated since it has been more than three years since the last professional boxing card.
Moore is presently ranked in the top ten by both the WBC and WBA after winning the North American Boxing Association (NABA) bantamweight belt.
He will look to add this title to his four others thus improving his chances for a crack at the World Bantamweight title sometime next year.
Marbun currently holds the Indonesian title. “I’m looking forward to the fight and giving the people of Singapore something to remember,” said the 20-year-old Moore in the Singapore media. “Marbun is a strong boxer and this will be one of the toughest challenges of my career but I’m confident that I have the skills, speed and power to beat him inside the distance,” Moore continued.
The fight is scheduled for the 2,400 seat Suntec Convention Centre Level 6 in Indonesia. Several other fights featuring Singapore fighters will comprise the card.
