Acting on information police conducted a search of a house at Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo, about 12:50 hours yesterday and found four female juveniles consuming alcohol in the company of a male adult.
The females are all said to be students of a Community High School on the West Coast of Demerara.
As police swooped down on the house another adult male managed to flee. A quantity of marijuana was also found in the building.
The man and the four juveniles are in custody as the investigations continue.
Only last week some female students from a West Bank Demerara School were caught in an abandoned church in the company of men.
