Dem boys worried. Nuff people looking fuh a raise and as Christmas coming de raise getting bigger. De people who use to tek a car fare now looking fuh money to buy ham.
Dem who use to get a raise to buy beer now want money to buy whisky.
And all this happen because couple people mek money running some racket. Some of dem decide to show dem money when dem buy some big vehicles that need a fuel tanker. Well when de price of gas go up these same people tun round and decide that dem also had to get a raise. Suh is everybody begging fuh a raise.
De other day a big man who was a police Commissioner did want a raise too. He drink three Cialis because he had somebody waiting fuh tek he raise. He dead.
He wife home was in shock because was a long time he didn’t give she a raise.
Then dem had de case of another who had a raise to give away but he had a problem. He couldn’t get rid of de raise and try as he might he had problems. He too dead because he heart couldn’t tek de pressure.
Dem boys seh that some people pressure raise when dem hear that dem ain’t getting no bonus. Is every year dem waiting fuh de bonus and when dem get de extra small piece dem wife spirit does raise and Christmas does be bright.
Well this year that same raise ain’t deh and of course, dem boys know that one raise lead to another. Is a trying time this Christmas. Even de cake might fail to raise.
