Sometimes people does see one thing and believe is a joke when is serious business. Some Guyanese travel to de island because all de world leaders was coming fuh a summit. Was a big thing because everybody decide that dem gun talk ‘bout climate change and how poor countries got to get money.
Guyana was one of the first to promote this thing. Bharrat tell de world that Guyana deh bad because it got all its people and agriculture land under water. In de end Norway decide to tek pity and give money. Bharrat smile because he see money. He tell de Prime Minister how he gun see that de money is well spent.
But dem have people who tell de same man from Norway that de Government would spend de money pun more contracts and that de people gun get shaft.
Dem point to de team from Guyana to go to de summit.  Is money that spend and dem boys believe that some of it waste.
Robeson dem can understand, because he job was to teach de Trinis about demolition. In fact, he nearly demolish de convention centre because it deh pun de reserve. Was de same thing in Guyana when he go to demolish de Caricom Secretariat.
But dem couldn’t understand Lumumba. He had no power and certainly no reason to go to Trinidad. Carolyn had a reason because she is Foreign Minister and de Commonwealth Summit was foreign to she.
Ashni was to see how much money dem had to spend and he actually pay de Bill. Dem boys seh that he was de man wid de purse.
But what about dem reporters? Sharief go to a press conference wheh de leader talking in French and he claim how he understand every word. He didn’t need interpreter.  Well dem boys find out that he was in love wid Sarkozy and he just sit down and admire de man.
