Police acting on information on Saturday went to Kuru Kuru where they found four fields of marijuana.
The ranks from the Police Narcotics Brach burnt the fields which all together produced a total of 500 kilograms of marijuana.
However, no one was arrested in connection with find as the area was completely abandoned.
In the meantime, police continue to search the surrounding areas for more fields of the herb.
