Police were last night hunting for a armed robber who shot an 18-year-old Cummings Lodge resident in the shoulder before escaping with his victim’s laptop computer.
The incident occurred at around 20:00 hrs at the victim’s home.
According to reports, the teen, Nico Mc Adam, was sitting on a bench outside his home with a laptop computer worth some $150,000 when a man entered his yard and attempted to relieve Mc Adam of his computer.
When Mc Adam resisted, the bandit shot him in the left shoulder, snatched the computer, and fled, while discharging two more rounds.
The wounded man was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where doctors discovered that the bullet had exited.
He was treated and discharged.
