Police, Walton Hall, Gunners and Lima have qualified for the semi-finals of the Shariff and Shira Khan Memorial twenty/20 cricket competition after the final preliminary round matches were completed last Sunday in North Essequibo.
In scores from matches played: At Lima, Lima 124 all out in 19 overs. (Fizal Karim 34, Deon Paris 3-10) beat Police 94 all out in 17 overs (Fazeer Khan 25, Nand Bahadur 3-18) by 30 runs.
At Richmond, Police 137 all out in 16 overs (Fazeer Khan 46, Amant Kowshal 4-8) beat Gunners 88 all out in 16 overs (A. Kowshal 23, Quasie Abrams 7-6) by 49 runs. Game reduced to 16 overs.
At Hampton court, Ravens 84-3 in 10 overs (Keron Sewnarine 27, Punraj Singh 20) beat Hampton Court 39-8 in 10 overs. (Badrinauth 2-19, Timmy Rambarran 2-3). Game reduced to 10 overs.
At Walton Hall, Walton Hall 129 all out 17.1 overs (Devindra Balgobin 28, Elroy Stephney 4-17, Badrinauth 3-20) lost to Ravens 133-3 in 17.2 overs (Kasim Bacchus 55, Keron Sewnarine 25).
In the semi-final matches, which will be played at Anna Regina on Sunday, Police will take on Walton Hall and Gunners will clash with Lima.
