Thirty-eight (38) students from the Anna Regina Shotokan Karate School successfully completed grading examinations on Saturday November 21 at The Anna Regina Multilateral School. Fourteen beginners were promoted to yellow belts (8th kyu), twenty-three yellow belts were promoted to orange belts (7th kyu) and one brown belt (3rd kyu) was promoted to brown belt (2nd kyu). Grading exams were conducted by Master Frank Woon -A-Tai 8th Dan and he was accompanied by Sensei Amir Khouri who is the Chief Instructor of the Anna Regina Shotokan Kaarte School and the YMCA Thomas Lands Dojo and Mr. Mark Phang.
