Positive Vibes Sports Club stages Paradise Village Day activities this weekend

The Positive Vibes Sports Club continues its public related activities when it stages the annual Paradise Village Day this Saturday, November 28 at the village playfield.
Teams participating in the events would be drawn from several East Coast villages including Paradise, Bare Root, Melanie Damishana, Bachelor’s Adventure, Non Pariel and Dazzell Housing Scheme. The day’s activities get underway at 12:00hrs with a 5-A-Side football match. Afterwards the respective villagers engage in a 6 overs tapeball cricket competition before they engage in a rounders match.
Young athletes of the various villages will also test their skills against each other in an athletic championship. Activities culminate with a grand cultural presentation where residents of the village get a chance to showcase their artistic skills.
Chairman of the Buxton/Foulis Neighbourhood Democratic Council, Mr. Randolph Blair will deliver the opening address moments before he declares activities open. Villagers would compete for trophies, cash and other attractive prizes.
