Management & Staff undergoing intense 2-day PR & Customer Care training

The once well known and popular gym in the city, Fitness Paradise, is set to make a grand return to the bodybuilding and fitness arena when its doors are reopened on Saturday at the Brandsville Hotel, Pike Street, Campbellville, under the theme – Shaping the new you.
Known to have produced some of the best bodybuilders and fitness champions to ever grace the stages of Guyana and the region, Fitness Paradise has the distinction of servicing the needs of hundreds of athletes for over 30 years.
And in an effort to ensure maximum customer care and Public Relations that is second to none, the lead management team of Chief Executive Officer Donald Sinclair and Manager Diane Sinclair has organised a high powered two-day Public Relations Customer Care and Technical Training Session for the staff which commenced yesterday at Olympic House, High Street, Kingston.
Renowned Customer Care Training Specialist and Consultant Joyce Sinclair AA is the facilitator of the training session which got off to an exciting start yesterday and concludes today.
Among the areas being dealt with under the theme ‘Attitude is everything’ with the distinct aim of achieving the highest possible standards are; what is management? characteristics of good managers, who are customers? customers needs and quality customer service among other areas. CEO Sinclair dealt with the mission and core values of Fitness Paradise.
The objectives of the programme is to help maintain values, standards, good manners as well as to expose the managers and staff to what constitutes a value – centered organization; to provide an orientation to High Quality Customer Service; to promote a spirit of “teamness” among staff and trainees.
Fitness Paradise has also been associated with the promotion of female bodybuilding and fitness and is aiming to regain that cutting edge in the not too distant future.
The highly qualified staff will deal with weight training, swimming, nutrition and counseling.
