The National Milling Company of Guyana (NAMILCO) earlier this week made a contribution of wooden stools to the St. Ann’s Primary School, Agricola, East Bank Demerara.
In handing over the furniture to Head Mistress, Ms Nandanie Ramoutar, NAMILCO’s Representative Dierdre Chan, a former student of St. Ann’s Primary, said that it was with a sense of pride and joy that she was making the donation on behalf of her employer.
“It’s a privilege of NAMILCO to help the school in any way we can since we believe in giving our youth the wherewithal to succeed and this is just one of the ways where we can help. Be assured that NAMILCO will be ready and able to assist this school in the future.”

Head Mistress Ramoutar, on behalf of the teachers and students expressed her schools appreciation to NAMILCO for showing great interest in the welfare of the school.
“I can assure that the staff and pupils would make full use of this furniture and take good care of them also. We are looking forward to your continuous support so that this school can have a better quality of education and pupils.”
Ms. Ramoutar said that the furniture will be used at the Cafeteria which the school will be opening shortly.
