Another teen suicide

Darshanie  Parsram of Anna Regina Housing Scheme, a 14-year-old Cotton Field Secondary School student is now dead after consuming a noxious substance.
According to reports, the teenager who died yesterday at the Balwant Singh hospital in Georgetown was first admitted to the Suddie Public Hospital before being flown to the city hospital where she was pronounced dead.
This newspaper was informed that the teenager was often non-cooperative in performing household chores whenever she was instructed to do so by her mother Haranie Parsram.
The incident took place after the teenager and her mother were engaged in a heated argument after she returned late from school.
