Guyana is really a lucky country. Everything bad does happen elsewhere except in Guyana. Dem boys seh that de Man above really sorry fuh this country. That is why this country don’t get earthquake, hurricane and really serious flood.
De only time dem had a flood was when some contractor short change de money he get to repair de conservancy and buy drinks and Chinee food fuh a woman. De flood was real punishment. People had water up to dem tail.
De Man above know that Guyana always got blackout suh he provide moonlight. People use to come out pun de road and smile how de place bright. Is only when dem go inside dem house that dem know that de place dark.
Dem boys seh that dem can’t imagine how Guyanese can live without money but dem eating, drinking and wearing de finest. Is luck dem got. Bird flu ain’t come to Guyana and Swine flu ain’t come either although dem claim how some people test positive.
Guyana is de only country that building spare health centres that dem put up till somebody find a use fuh dem. That is luck because some people ain’t even got house to live in.
Imagine de other day NIS end up smelling like a toilet because de pipe burst. Dem boys seh is luck because if that didn’t happen people woulda never know that is so much filth deh by de NIS, especially since it lost money in Clico.
And dem boys seh that when it come to lost money everybody know that a man lucky when he ain’t lost money. Long time people use to find money on the road. That don’t happen now. In fact, people don’t even find money to pay dem bills. That is wha dem boys seh.
Talk half. Lef half.
