The 2009 Ministry of Education/ National Sports Commission/ Guyana Cricket Board National Secondary Schools Under-15 40- Over Cricket Competition continued at the inter-school stage recently.
Berbice right arm led spinner Shawn Perreira, playing for Corentyne Comprehensive Secondary took 5 for 13 from 8 Overs to help his school bowl out Port Mourant Community High for 88. Opening Batsman Nicholas Cameron (38 N.O) and Nazirdin Bux (30 N.O) then saw Comprehensive to a 10 wicket win.
After Central Corentyne Secondary bowled out Manchester Secondary for a paltry 62, opening batsman Kamadevin Permauloo hit 50 N.O and his partner Karamchand Ramnarine 10 N.O to help their school to a 10 wicket win.

At Bush Lot Farm, Central Corentyne Secondary School beat Manchester Secondary School by 10 wickets. Manchester Secondary 62 in 10 Overs with Jermin Park 25. Central Corentyne Secondary 65 without loss with Kamadevin Permauloo 50 N.O, Karamchand Ramnarine 10 N.O.
At Paradise, Bush Lot Secondary School beat Belladrum Secondary School by 4 runs.
Bush Lot Secondary 88 in 16 Overs with Michael Estriado 4 for 20, Jason Fraser 4 for 15. Belladrum Secondary 84 in 19 Overs with Richard Mitchell 4 for 10, Prakash Deonarine 3 for 25, Grenville Grant 2 for 20.
