Was a time when man believe that he was king, that he was in control. He use to walk in de house and announce how is he wearing de pants and how is he bringing in de money. He use to puff up he chest and holler how when he talk no dog must bark.
Well dem boys notice that things gone full circle. De other day dem see that these days man got to keep quiet because de woman wearing more pants than he and bringing in more money than he. Some man got woman minding dem.
Was a time when man use to pass by St George’s square and see dem woman who was willing to help out.
Up come some man who is more woman than woman and dem run off dem woman. De thing is that dem getting clients and boasting how is man run things.
Well de other day dem boys went to a Soca show. Some big ones been too and dem walk wid dem woman. You had some rich man who walk with three woman who dress alike.
Before de show start, dem boys see some woman walk in. One of dem dress in a suit and de others dress alike. And that wasn’t all.
De one wid a suit going to de bar and buying fuh de set wha dress alike. Woman doing wha man use to do even in that field.
Dem boys seh that woman proving that man useless and that dem can live without dem.
In some countries woman even raising children without men. Dem going to some lab and wukking out an arrangement fuh get pregnant.
Then dem raising de child in a house like mommy and daddy. Men doing de same thing except that dem can’t get pregnant.
Things gone full circle.
