Matches on at Camptown and Tucville grounds
When play in the DeSinco Trading Under-19 tournament organised by the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) continues today in the city, Fruta Conquerors, Sunburst Camptown, Riddim Squad, Pele and Uprising will be aiming to consolidate with wins again.
The six teams won in contrasting fashion last Saturday, the opening day of rivalry. Conquerors won by the largest margin, a 10-1 mauling of the Georgetown Football Club (GFC), Manasseh Primo leading the Fruta boys with 4 goals.
Today’s matches at the Tucville ground will see Conquerors opening at 09:00hrs against Alpha United, two hours later Uprising oppose GFC with the final match beginning at 13:00hrs featuring Santos and Riddim Squad.
Over at the Camptown ground in Campbellville, the home team will entertain BK International Western Tigers in the opening fixture, Northern Rangers and Flamingo tangle in the second game with the main event bringing together Pele and Black Pearl.
