Is a long time now since dem boys hear bout people getting put pun de immigration bench. Was a time when every single day it use to happen and when de people come home dem use to run to de newspapers to complain.
Some of dem never use to seh how dem overstay dem time de last time and that is why de people didn’t want to let dem into de country. Some of dem thief before and that was de problem.
Of course dem had innocent people who get pull in and that is wha use to hurt. Bharrat even get vex and he talk bout it at de last Caricom summit. People clap and de Bajan Prime Minister bend he head.
Wha dem boys didn’t know was that de man had a plan and he execute that plan last night. De Waterfalls Boss man pick up heself and go to Barbados like if he own de country. He step off de plane wid he chest puff up and he passport in he hand.
Well he chest fall in when de immigration officer didn’t even look at he passport and order he to sit pun de Bench. Some ordinary people just go up and tell de immigration man “Good day sir” and enter de country. Dem same people run to telephone Guyana how de Waterfalls boss man get put pun de bench. He was de last to leave de airport. Dem boys seh that de immigration man tell he that he like write and he want he to write from practical experience.
A man name Osafo went wid he. Well was problems because Osafo didn’t have money. When de immigration officer tell he that he could walk through he stop. He decide that he too should sit on de bench because he didn’t want sleep on de road. All’s well that ends well. When last dem boys hear de two of dem sit down by some mauby stand crying how Bajans rough. He seh how he ain’t going back to Guyana because he don’t want to come back to Barbados and go through de same thing again.
De Waterfalls paper got a new boss from today. Is a woman.
