Yet another teenaged girl has attempted to take her own life. The latest incident took place yesterday at a city school.
Reports reaching Kaieteur News state that the young girl was seen “running around” her school “in a possessed state” minutes before 16:00 hrs.
She was then restrained by male teachers and students from her class. The fourth former somehow shook them off and then reportedly ran onto the major road adjacent to the buliding.
Kaieteur News understands that she was aiming at running into the path of an oncoming vehicle, but was stopped by teachers of the school who had been in hot pursuit.
The child was eventually brought under control and taken to a hospital.
