Six matches to be played at Camptown and Tucville grounds
Under-19 footballers in the city will be locked in rivalry from today when the DeSinco Trading sponsored competition kicks off at two venues in the city with three matches scheduled for each.
Twelve teams will vie for supremacy and they have been divided into two groups of 6 clubs each.
The tournament will be contested using the round-robin format, the top four from each group will move on the stage two, which will be the knock-out stage.
To be eligible, players must be born on or after January 1st 1990.
From 09:00hrs at the Tucville ground, Pele face Alpha United, two hours later Fruta Conquerors oppose Georgetown Football Club and from 13:00hrs, Black Pearl match skills with Uprising. Over at the Camptown ground at the same times Sunburst Camptown come up against Flamingo, Riddim Squad play Northern Rangers and BK International Western Tigers face off with Santos.
