The Banks DIH sponsored Power Stout floodlight tapeball cricket tournament continued last Wednesday with more exciting matches as games see sawed one way to another and the crowd were treated to some robust hitting by the batsmen from the participating teams.
In the results from the games played: Gas XI defeated Banks DIH by 12 runs.
Gas XI were inserted and made 60 -6 in their 6 overs (Shawn Chandreka 15) In reply Banks DIH were limited to 48-6 in their 6 overs.
Movie Star XI defeated Vipers XI by 10 wkts. Vipers XI batted first and scored 60-4 from 6 overs (Ricky Sarfar 31; Suraj Persaud 1-0 from 1 over) in reply Movie Star XI rushed to 62-0 in 4 overs (Wazir Mohamed 49).
SSS Manufacturing defeated GNSC All Stars XI by 6 runs. SSS Manufacturing XI were inserted and made 60-5 in 6 overs (Sewchand Narine 32; Rovin Jackman 1-6 from1 over) In reply GNSC All Stars were limited to 54-6 in 6 overs ( Lovell Courina 25; Devenand Khemraj 1-3 from 2 overs)
Meanwhile matches will resume on Wednesday November 11.
