Dear Editor,
The image of the little girl, burnt by napalm during the Vietnam War was the turning point in this horrific war.
America was disgraced by this haunting image, as a result, the anti war movement gained momentum, and in the end the Americans were defeated and had to withdraw from Vietnam. The terrible image of the burnt child in Guyana as published in Kaieteur News, recalls the same brutality, and hopefully will be the turning point in the terrible security situation that exists in Guyana today.
