Dem boys seh that things does happen in Guyana so fast that before one story done another one start up. Just de other day Robert of Agriculture was getting vex because dem boys was peeping at everything he do.
He contractors also get vex and one of dem even threaten legal action because dem boys find out that some of de prices fuh de wuk was too high.
Then dem announce more contracts and dem boys begin to sharpen dem eye because dem get into de habit of checking. Dem contractors begin to get nervous again. Up comes de police wid de distraction and all of a sudden dem boys eye shift to de police.
Well some people want to bet that is nuff contract gun pass and de contractor gun hustle while all eyes now watching de police. But dem must know that it don’t tek much to mek dem boy shift dem eye.
Imagine dem boys see a road wid a big hole and a contractor walking round de hole calculating how much he gun charge and dem boys lef de man fuh see wha de police doing.
Dem boys also tek a look at de cricket match and bet that rain gun fall. Of course rain fall and wash out some match. But de strange thing is that de rain only come when cricket come. Before de cricket was dry, dry weather. Any how, neither rain, nor contract, nor cricket will distract from de police.
Talk half. Lef half.
