Another Lindener, Norville Fedricks, got lucky and took home the first prize of the Republic Bank Visa Travel Money (VTM) promotion.
Norville won a trip for two to Trinidad at the drawing last Thursday.
Celtus Smith of Kuru Kuru received the second prize of US$500 which was deposited into his VTM card account.
Vishvanah Durga of Berbice received the third prize of a trip to Baganara and the consolation prize was given to Dawovoh Yawh who won a Digital camera.
The Visa Travel Money (VTM) card was launched in July 2008 and the promotion which started a year later on July 15, lasted until 15 October 2009.
According to Republic Bank Marketing Manager, Fredrick Rampersaud, the VTM Jet Away and Win Big promotion, required customers to fill coupons and leave it in a box at anyone of the 10 Republic Bank Limited locations.
The VTM card could be used to shop online and anywhere Visa is acceptable.
A person must have a minimum of US$500 before they could be eligible for the promotion.
The grand prize winners were announced at a small gathering at the Republic Bank Limited Water Street, Georgetown office.
The winning entries were pulled by volunteers who had to pull them from a box full of coupons.
