Over Fifty Horses have taken Entry for the Ryan Crawford’s Memorial Turf Club Race Final Meeting for the Year on Sunday November 1 with over Two Million Dollars in prize money and trophy at stake compliments of Banks DIH Limited and Digicel.
The track is reported to be in excellent condition and an exciting day of racing is anticipates Turfites will have their wish, in the Banks DIH C & Lower main event 1300 metres for a total purse of $568,000. They are set to witness a collision among Sweet Carmel, The Gap, Laura Lee in Flight all of the Customs Racing Stables coming up against The Message, Miss Republic and the first timer Cherokee Brother.
The 3 Years old Open Guyana West Indies Bred over a distance of 1700 metre with a first prize & Trophy sponsored by Digicel, will see the unbeaten in her last two starts Night Crescendo, throwing down the Challenge to locals, Pixie Fire, Sweetness, recently imported “GIGLI” of the Habibullah Stables, Miracle Run of the Elcock’s Stables (Brother of THE MESSAGE) and Lady of my Dreams.
The 2 Years old covering a distance of approximately 1300 metres with a First prize of $175,000 and Trophy features horses like Little Spike, Miss Bounty, Mona Lisa, Peaceful, Infinity, Diamond Jack, Joy Full Prospect, De Gump and others.
In the F Class event at a distance of 1700 metres with a purse of $262,000 and Trophy, will see the likes of Matterazi, Sir Balajee, Laura Lee in Flight, World Class, Face De Music and Alphabet.
The H & Lower Event at 1200 metres include horses like Bad News, Wonder Lite, Funny Sided, Vanessa, Amy Jane, Freedom Road, Fantastic Light and others.
The I Class at 1400 metres will have a full field which includes, Clear Victory, Channel Boy, Rum Till I Die, Lightening McQueen, El Gato, Funny Sided and others.
The Division 2 & 3 covering 1100 metres will have Silver Kid, Bounty Flyer, Survival, Sporting Time, Romeo and others in the hunt.
Gates open at 13:15hrs. The Banks DIH Bar will be on site for the usual refreshments with Rhythm Star International Sound System providing entertainment. Digicel will also graced the event with their promotion. An exciting day of racing is anticipated.
