The final of the countrywide inter-Jamaat softball cricket tournament will be held at Ogle Ground this Sunday November 1.
Eight teams will vie for the top spot after winning their respective zones.
The competition which began in September has seen some 30 Jamaat teams from around the country battle to reach this final.
The teams that have made it through to this round are Aurora of Essequibo; Linden Jamaat; Fyrish Village of Berbice; Leonora and Anna Catherina of West Demerara; Kitty Masjid of Georgetown; Ogle Masjid of East Coast of Demerara; Grove Masjid of East Bank of Demerara.
Games will start at 9.00 am sharp. Umpires in charge will be Ian Allen and Ravendra Ramgobin.
There will lots to eat and drink and Muslims are encouraged to come out and support this event to show their unity.
Managing Director of West Indian Sports Complex will be on hand to present the trophies to the various category winners.
