Deal on Wheels winner collects prize
A Lindener was the lucky Republic Bank customer to claim the brand new Nissan Cube (in background) which represented the grand prize in the recently concluded Deal on Wheels loan promotion.
Leonard Bacchus, (at left) of Christianburg, Linden, received the key to his fully loaded vehicle from Managing Director of the Bank, Mr Edwin Gooding, at a simple ceremony held at the bank’s Training and Development Centre located at Waterloo Street, Georgetown, last week Friday.
The handing over of the keys marked the culmination of a three-month loan campaign which began on June 29, last and ended on September 18, last.
Clients benefited from reduced equity contributions and extended payback periods.
Each of the more than 400 customers who secured loans to purchase either a motorcar or motorcycle during this campaign, had an opportunity to win the fully loaded Cube.
Bacchus won after a draw held on October 12 last.
Anil and Devina’s Auto Sales was also awarded at the ceremony.
They were declared the winners of the Merchant Prize of $100,000 for being the Auto Dealership from which Bacchus purchased a car during the Deal on Wheels Promotion.
