“Natoo” kidnapping PI yet to begin

The preliminary inquiry into the kidnapping of businessman Beharry “Natoo” Dookie’s daughter is still to commence.
As the case was called up yesterday before Magistrate Nigel Hawke at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court the Magistrate issued a further date for report.
The three accused France Prince, a 23-year-old mechanic of Lot 3 East La Penitence; Sivon Warner, 27, of Tucville Government Ground; and 22-year-old Tyrone Solomon of 3440 Jacksonville Street, North Ruimveldt, were all present when the matter was called up.
The matter has been adjourned for November 3, before Magistrate Nigel Hawke.
The file was sent to the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice. It was only released some time last week.
The DPP also recommended that a new charge be instituted against Tyrone Solomon, for failing to provide information.
Solomon’s attorney, Mark Waldron, had earlier made an application for the matters to be discharged against his client and also the other defendants. The lawyer noted that there was no evidence, which ties his client to the matter, in question.
It must be noted that neither the virtual complainant nor a representative have never appeared in court, since charges were instituted against the defendants.
The three are accused of unlawfully confining Rorhema Dookie with the intent to hold for ransom of $40M. They were not required to plead to the indictable offence.
