GuyExpo has come and gone and has left different impressions with different individuals.
There are the business people who had their products and services on display and probably secured additional customers.
There are the patrons who left the exhibition centres with a renewed sense of pride in their country given that some were left amazed at the many products that Guyana produced.
There were many accolades heaped on the trade fair especially in the areas of security that the Guyana Police Force supplied. What many do not know is that the ranks that protected and served over the six day period were all on special duties outside of their compulsory hours of deployment.
Over 170 ranks are yet to receive their incentives from performing their sometimes 12-hours long duties.
