The Lions Club of D’Urban Park would be observing its annual “Lions World Sight Day” tomorrow.
On the occasion, the club will be hosting an eye clinic at the Guyana Cricket Club for primary school children with a focus on eliminating preventable blindness and improving sight.
Special sight-related projects include vision screenings mainly for students of primary schools, provision of spectacles for several needy students, organising eye surgeries as required and follow up treatment as needed.
The Lions Club of D’Urban Park was chartered on December 14, 1993 and continues to fulfill the needs of the less fortunate in the community it serves.
