Guyanese forward Anthony ‘Awo’ Abrams guided Suriname’s Leo Victor FC to a 3-0 victory in their opening game of the 2009/10 season against Robin Hood last Wednesday.
Abrams netted his team’s third goal on an assist from attacking midfielder and former Guyanese National Jermaine Browne.
Robin Hood’s goalkeeper is another Guyanese national player, Richard Reynolds. Abram’s ended last season with 22 goals from 11 games.
