Dear Editor,
It is with great interest that I observe the selective manner in which Minister Robertson Benn removes illegal occupiers of Government reserves as with the recent fiasco with the KP Thomas Group.
It has been several years now that the members of our community have been lobbying the minister and City Hall for the removal of a squatter, known as ‘Nastyman’ to be removed from occupying a roadway to our homes on La Penitance Public Road, opposite National Printers.
This law breaker continues to operate under the protection of those in high places, while our sleep at night continue to be disturbed by his loud music and nothing has changed from our previous complaints.
The law should be for all and not for a selective few. I hope the minister will do the right thing by evicting this illegal squatter from our roadway.
