Semi-final matches in the Positive Vibes / Cinderella Promotions 15-over Knockout Tapeball Cricket Competition is set for this Sunday at the Paradise Playfield.
In the opening game, Dazzell Housing Scheme will play against Patrick Cockfield Cut Above XI and that will be followed by the clash between Tri Stars of Enterprise versus Haslington XI. In results of two quarter-final matches played last Sunday, Haslington XI defeated Koker Crew by six wickets and Patrick Cockfield Cut Above XI gained a walkover from Veteran XI which failed to show up for their encounter.
Batting first, Koker Crew scored 87 off the allotted overs with Metford Marks hitting a top-score of 31, while Joel Jack supported with 16. J. Archer bagged 5-15.
Haslington in reply, reached 88-4 in 14 overs. J. Skeete 16 and T. Carr 13 were the principal scorers.
Meanwhile, the final is scheduled to be played on Sunday, October 18 at the same venue.
The victorious teams will receive trophies donated by Chairman of Region # 4 Reginald Corlette and Leslie Forrester of Cinderella Promotions.
