Dear Editor,
Your story on the Environmental Community Health Organisation (ECHO) clubs in schools was refreshing.
Just look at all the rubbish around our school yards and other compounds. Many adults have not set any good example for the children.
I feel that, these clubs would be able to assist in keeping their surrounding clean. These clubs should be encouraged by everyone, especially those, who are really concerned about the environment.
Further, I believe that all schools in Guyana should have an ECHO club. Maybe the private sector can help in this regard.
Also, the government can help ECHO to put more clubs in not only primary schools, but also secondary schools.
