Orealla Primary got the better of Line Path Secondary 3-0 margin when the Garrett Cup continued last week in Corentyne.
However, the score line does not give a true picture of the competitive nature of the game.
Each team enjoyed equal ball possession but the difference was the finishing as Line Path squandered many scoring opportunities. On the other hand, the lads from Orealla grasped their opportunities and finished clinically.
The goal scorers were Norland Peneux, who scored for Orealla in the 15th minute. Kerrol Pablo added the school’s second goal in the 51st minute while the third goal was credited to as a defence error in the 61st minute of the game.
