Nine-year-old Satesh Deodat, who was hit by a motorcycle on Tuesday while negotiating a pedestrian crossing outside Agricola Primary School, was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital with his hands broken in three places and a damaged left foot, on Tuesday.
Yesterday, the boy of 9 Houston Housing Scheme, who was sitting in a wheelchair in hospital, said, “Three minibuses stopped and I crossed the road. Then a motorbike come out from behind and hit me.”
His aunt who was with him said, “Right now his left hand is bandaged up he can’t walk and I hope he gets better quickly.”
Up to press time the Motorcyclist was in custody according to police sources.
